When using a fire pump, know how to prevent fire pump leakage. Fire pump mechanical seals, also known as faces, a pair of rotating faces perpendicular to the shaft that act in fluid pressure and compensate for mechanical tension, assist the seal, and remain connected with other ends, and slide relative to each other, thereby preventing the fire pump from leaking fluid.
If the fire pump wants to avoid leakage, it should also carry out regular inspection and maintenance. However, the fire pump still has common periodic leaks, such as the axial movement of the fire pump rotor, the interference amount and the auxiliary sealing ring of the shaft are not flexible in the shaft. When the pump is turned over, the dynamic and static ring wear cannot be compensated. Then in this case, in the assembly of the mechanical seal, the axial momentum of the shaft should be less than 0.1 mm, the auxiliary seal and the residual amount of the shaft is moderate, and the radial seal is guaranteed at the same time, and the dynamic ring assembly ensures that the shaft is flexible.
